I would like to say I am tired of receiving offensive comments on some of my deviations simply because someone doesn't like the photo. I am all about freedom of speech, but on a site like this, make it so that you are not offending the photographer or the model. Perhaps suggest what you would have done differently, or what you'd like to see, not that you don't like it because you think it is "ew." I say this because I received an offensive comment on my deviation "Tender" [link] and I did not appreciate it.

It's very difficult for girls who are bigger, like me, to pose nude and post the pictures on a site for artists. It's nerve-racking, it's scary, and it's hard when you know you're not the a-typical "sexy" model. But we're brave for doing so, and in submitting ourselves in this vulnerable state, negative opinions should be kept to themselves.

So I ask, if you read this journal before browsing my gallery, that you keep your personal thoughts to yourself. If you have something to say about the technicalities of the photo (i.e. black and white, lighting, position, contrast, etc) I am all for suggestions. But if you don't like the photo because you don't like heavier women, then please leave. I will have none of it.

I am now in Seattle and have been for about 3 weeks! It is nice to be back home Sorry I have been out of touch with DA for a while. I still haven't gotten my own computer set up (I am currently on Ethan's laptop), let alone have time to take pics. But rest assured that as soon as things are settled, I will be doing my best to post often! I have lots of ideas I'd like to try out and see what you all think
